Established 1968 and still under original ownership North Farm ceased trading as a riding school in 2021 focusing on livery and a touring caravan/motorhome/camping site. Please note, we no longer offer hacking/riding lessons, only camping and livery facilities. Livery:

We offer both herd and individual field packages. We are fully insured and have care, custody and control within our policy should you require assistance. The livery fee includes a box for each horse and individual storage space is provided. Hay and straw can be purchased on site. A fully alarmed tack room is provided for your convenience. We are situated adjacent to Mortimer Forest with direct access from the farm onto a bridleway. A sand arena is also available for schooling needs. Camp Site:

Our seasonal camp site holds an unrivalled position overlooking the beautiful, historic market town of Ludlow and its impressive Norman castle. This small, friendly, quiet farm site has 11 level grass standings with electric hook up with extra space on the slope for tents. Picturesque views of the surrounding South Shropshire hills. Two showers (no meters)
Three toilets
Washing-up facilities
Hot and Cold Water
Razor and Power points
Chemical toilet point

Just a reminder that we open for 2027 bookings on January 6th 2027.

Bookings for all Live At Ludlow Castle gig dates will be taken on a first come, first serve basis and as with previous years, we take bookings for the slope as well as the level pitches.

The Camp Site is now CLOSED for 2026 and will reopen for Easter 2027 - thank you to all of our valued customers for another fantastic season!

28/08/2026

There are road closure signs at the bottom of Whitcliffe Road (incorrectly labelled on some maps as Kill Horse Lane) stating there is a road closure from the 1st September for 3 days.

The closure is from near the High Vinnals car park towards Pipe Aston and does not impact access to North Farm from Ludlow.

Following this there will be traffic lights near the Forestry England Offices whilst tree surgery takes place from the 9th - 11th September. Again, access to North Farm from Ludlow will be uninterrupted.

Please be sensible in this heatwave, think of people, animals and property that are all vulnerable and think of our amazing fire service teams who are working harder than ever to reduce the impact.
