Coming soon to a Chequers near you.......

Super excited to announce Gurkha Curry will taking over the kitchen here at the Chequers, bringing a delicious blend of Nepalise and Indian food to Ullersthorpe.

Hari and his team have a built up a great reputation in Leicester and currently operate in two pubsmaking us number 3.....!!

World Cup starts next week and what a way to kick it off with a blind sweep stake at the Chequers.

£5 per envelope, with all envelopes sealed, so you won't know who your team is.....but that will keep you interested throughout the World Cup, with a chance of winning one of 3 cash prizes:

1st place - £150
Runner Up - £60
3rd Place - £30

You are able to buy more than one evelope to increase your chances, but you have to be in it to win it......!!

All envelopes will be opened on 19th July and the winners announced, so pop in for a drink and pick your team.

PS, whoever gets England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 is a dead cert for the £150......It's Coming Home......!!

The LocalI Pub' It is characterized by a strong sense of community, familiarity, and routine, where patrons and staff know each other by name, creating an everyday social hub where friends & family drink together.

I'm Nips and have recently taken over the Chequers Country Inn or The Chequers as it is more commonly known. The local pub is a huge part of every community and somewhere that brings that community together.

We have some exciting plans ahead to make The Chequers a real hub for everyone in Ullersthorpe and beyond, where friends and family can drink, eat, laugh, debate and even cry (hopefully not this world cup.....it"s coming home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.....!!) Together
