The Rock Point is a wonderfully scenic inn that lies on Lyme Regis harbour, overlooking the surrounding bay and Jurassic coastline. This 18th-century tavern occupies a tranquil location at the heart of what many consider to be ‘The Pearl of Dorset’. Indulge in a tasty menu that showcases quality pub staples alongside enticing specials, each crafted from fresh seasonal ingredients. What better way to make the most of the commanding vantage point than by savouring one of St Austell Brewery’s award-winning beers? It’s an invigorating combination that makes for a truly memorable experience. If you’re seeking a place to stay, look no further than the Rock Point’s nine stylishly decorated bedrooms. Overlooking the sapphire hues of the open ocean, each blends character with contemporary design to brilliant effect. You’ll find all the desirable mod cons too, from smart en-suites to luxury beds and flat-screen TVs.

Our love for dogs isn’t just limited to Fridays! 🐾

At Rockpoint, we welcome dogs in all areas, so your furry family member never has to stay behind while you dine, drink, or even stay with us.

Three of our nine rooms are dog-friendly, so we’ve got you covered from start to finish. Most of our four-legged guests aren’t too fussed about our great ales or famous fish & chips, but they certainly enjoy a treat or two! 🐶

And now that we’re into the winter months, dogs are welcome on Lyme Regis beaches until 1st May — or all year round on Church Beach.

So, bring the whole family. We’ll save a treat for the pups. 🐾And finally if you’re visiting please do send us any pics you snap - dogs or no dogs !
