Some things are more than just a sign. They’re a reminder of the years gone by, the memories made and the generations of guests who have walked through our doors

On Saturday 14th of November, we’re delighted to be hosting the New Forest Bloodhounds Human Runners Hunt here at The Bell Inn! Join us for a delicious breakfast and the chance to meet the beautiful bloodhounds before they head off on their human runners trail.

We know there can be some misunderstandings about bloodhound hunting, so we want to make things clear:

- This is 100% a human-runner-only hunt, also known as “hunting the clean boot” - meaning the hounds follow the natural scent of a human, with no animals involved and no artificial scent used.

- And at the end of the hunt? The hounds simply find the runner and cover them in happy licks and slobbery kisses!

Please also note: these are Bloodhounds - not drag hounds or foxhounds.

We’d love to see you all on Saturday 14th of November to enjoy the morning with us and watch the hounds set off.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
- The Bell Inn Team 🐶💛
