This year marks five years of running art courses at Moor and Sea — and to celebrate, we’re giving away a place on our Art Retreat on Exmoor.
Five years of mornings out in this landscape. Five years of afternoons in the studio. Five years of guests who arrived not quite sure if they could paint, and left with work they were genuinely proud of.
Here’s what you’d win:
Five days exploring the moor and coast with Bridget and Richard — cliff paths, wooded river valleys, hidden coves, and moorland that stretches for miles. Unhurried walks designed for looking as much as moving. You’ll sketch, photograph, and collect as you go.
Back in the studio each afternoon, Bridget guides you — at your own pace, whatever your level — as you turn what you found outside into artwork. Oils, gouache, charcoal you’ve made yourself, print, ink, acrylic. Every guest receives a handmade sketchbook from local paper makers .
Richard cooks every day — including breakfast on the beach. Your own cottage to come home to each evening, with far-reaching Exmoor views.
No experience needed. Just curiosity.
