Can’t say we are surprised. We are so lucky to live in such a wonderful place and the number of guests who return to stay with us, every year, or multiple times a year is testament to what a great area it is. Keep up the good work everyone 👏👏
This area has long been an aspirational place to live in your later years. Now it's officially the second best coastal destination to retire to in England and Wales, according to a national survey.
The Regional Retirement Index created by David Wilson Homes ranked coastal local authorities on factors considered most important in later years, like life satisfaction, and access to healthcare and green space.
Fylde achieved an overall score of 62.6, with high quality of life, placing it behind only Folkestone and Hythe.
