Other events to put in your diary are the Machynlleth comedy festival Friday 28th to 30th April plus Wales mountain bike enduro. Then Thursday 25th to 28th May is the Mach2 motorbike festival which also coincides with the Machynlleth beer festival. Also around June time are the Rugby 7s (Sion Wynn 7s). & the themed Machynlleth carnival. Also, 10 minutes drive away is the Ancient Capital of Wales, Machynlleth, where you can take a look at the old parliament buildings of Owain Glyndwr. Also, every Wednesday is the long-standing market which has been going for 700 plus years with various visiting traders from around the UK. Machynlleth has a diverse array of Restaurant hotels and pubs, plenty of shops to browse round including our very own V**e Shop, Chinese takeaway, Indian Restaurant & Pizzaria & of course the famous clock tower.
