Emma has been kind enough to donate some gorgeous clothes for the girls! It was so thoughtful of her to choose pieces they’ll love and be able to enjoy 💗

We were so pleased to receive a wonderful delivery of stationary as well as back to school bits and bobs! It’s already proving very popular and we know the girls will get lots of use out of it.

✏️ Back to school Donations!

Somehow, it’s already mid-August and September is just around the corner!

A new school year means a fresh timetable, new goals and, of course, the very satisfying feeling of opening a brand-new notebook 📚

We’re looking for donations of school supplies and stationery to help our residents get ready for the year ahead.

We’d particularly welcome:

✏️ Notebooks and lined paper
🖊️ Pens, pencils and highlighters
📓 Pencil cases
📏 Rulers, rubbers and sharpeners
🔢 Calculators
🎒 Backpacks

Fresh from the garden and straight from the plum tree at Contact!

We’ve had so many plums this year that we could probably open our own plum jam shop! So, naturally, we made jam 🌸

What’s next? We’re not quite sure… plum crumble? Plum cake? Plum chutney?

It’s little things like this that help make Contact feel like a home where our residents can feel comfortable and cared for 💛

We are proud to unveil our newly renovated downstairs bathroom at Contact Hostel ✨

In just a few days, the wonderful Bathroom Angels team transformed a tired and outdated space into a bright, modern bathroom that the young women we support can enjoy and take pride in. The skill and attention to detail throughout the refurbishment has made such a positive change to our home.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr Michael Josephson MBE for generously funding this project and for his continued support of Contact Hostel. Following his previous support in renovating our hallway and landing, Dr Michael Josephson MBE has once again helped us create a welcoming place where the young women living here feel valued and at home.

We are extremely grateful for Dr Michael Josephson MBE’s kindness and ongoing belief in our work. His support makes a lasting difference to the lives of the young women we support, we cannot thank him enough.

Our thanks also go to Diane and the team at Bathroom Angels for carrying out the refurbishment with such care and professionalism. The finished bathroom is a space everyone at Contact Hostel can be proud of!
