🏆🎺 The Best Brass Band in England! 🎺🏆

What a fantastic evening on Friday, welcoming the incredibly talented Aldbourne Band to The Blue Boar to celebrate their amazing achievement at the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain 🍻🥂
What a talented bunch of people, but more importantly, what genuinely lovely human beings they are. Their dedication, passion and commitment to their music is truly inspiring.
We couldn't be prouder to sponsor and support such an incredible group of people who put our little village of Aldbourne firmly on the musical map! ❤️
Here's to Aldbourne Band, their continued success and many more celebrations together at The Blue Boar! 🍻🎶

🎃 From Pumpkin to Soup, Made with Love at The Blue Boar! 🍂
There's something rather special about this time of year at The Blue Boar, and our very own Evie Aylett has been getting into the autumn spirit! ❤️
What started life as one of our autumn pumpkins has found its way into our kitchen, where Evie has been busy working her magic and turning it into a delicious, homemade pumpkin soup!
With a warming hint of nutmeg, a swirl of cream and a sprinkling of roasted pumpkin seeds, she's created a lovely bowl of autumn comfort food. 😋
And when it makes its way onto our menu, it'll be served with a crusty, buttered bread roll, perfect for dipping and mopping up every last drop!
We love seeing our younger team members getting creative in the kitchen, and Evie has certainly done us proud with this one. 👏
From pumpkin to plate, proper homemade goodness at The Blue Boar!

Who fancies giving Evie's pumpkin soup a try?

A Morning Visit from Horace the Robin! ❤️🐦
Look who popped by to say good morning! 😍
Meet Horace, our little feathered friend who's become quite the regular visitor here at The Blue Boar!
He's certainly making himself at home, and as you can see, he's not camera shy either! 📸

📸 If you manage to capture a photo of Horace, we'd love to see it! Share your pictures and tag The Blue Boar so we can see your best shots of our little resident celebrity!
Who knows, Horace might even become the most photographed regular at the pub! 🐦🍻

PROPER COMFORT FOOD AT THE BLUE BOAR!
Our delicious Prawn Jacket Potatoes have been a real hit today! 😍
With the weather turning cooler, there's nothing quite like a piping hot, fluffy jacket potato, generously filled with prawns in Marie Rose sauce, served with a fresh side salad.
And if prawns aren't your thing, don't worry! We've got plenty more to tempt you on our Proper Pub Grub Lunch Menu! 🍽️
Good honest food, generous portions and a warm, friendly welcome. Just how a proper village pub should be! 🍻

It's that time of year again when our beautiful summer hanging baskets and planters make way for their winter and spring replacements! 🍂🌺
We absolutely love watching them grow and burst into colour over the coming months, bringing a little extra cheer to the pub and the village green.
One of the loveliest things is hearing all your wonderful comments about how pretty The Blue Boar looks when everything is in bloom. It really does make all the effort worthwhile! ❤️
So, if you're passing through Aldbourne, why not pop in for a drink, a spot of lunch or simply to admire the new displays? 🍻🍽️
We can't wait to see how they flourish over the coming months!
A proper village pub, looking blooming lovely all year round!
