October Half-Term at Peak Village! 🍂🎃

Looking for something fun to do with the little ones? We've got a brilliant line-up of family-friendly activities this half-term!

🦇 Tuesday 27th | Make a Bat Box | 10am–2pm
Join Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to build your own bat box to take home. £20 per family group – booking essential.

🎃 Wednesday 28th | Pottery Pumpkins | 12pm–3.30pm
Get creative with The Clayrooms and make your own pottery pumpkin. FREE – drop in!

🍁 Friday 30th | Halloween Nature Crafts | 11am–3pm
Enjoy FREE Halloween-themed crafting with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust using natural materials.

👻 Saturday 31st | Halloween Fun Day | 11am–4pm
FREE spooky crafts, storytelling and photo opportunities, plus delicious treats from our pop-up bakery! 🥐

Only 4 weeks to go until our 3 day Christmas Market event kicks off! 🎄

Look forward to browsing stalls from local independent traders, artisan makers, craft producers and food and drink vendors and you can even have a tipple in the Après Ski-style bar area. ✨

Enjoy live entertainment on Friday 20th November and Saturday 21st November. On Sunday 22nd November, the Christmas Market will coincide with our annual Christmas Lights Switch On, bringing together two events to kick off the festive season. 🎵

The Christmas Market will be open from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 11:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday.🕰️

Apparently there are still a few people who don't know about the move.

We closed the old Matlock shop on Bank Road and moved over the road into the old Wilkos. Same butchers, a lot more room: we've added Ginger's Kitchen & Cafe and a deli counter, plus the farm shop and groceries.

Open Monday to Saturday 8 till 5.30, Sunday 10 till 4.

Bakewell is running as normal, and if you can't get to either shop we deliver locally and nationwide, or you can click and collect. Order at gingerbutchers.co.uk.
