Tractor Night is becoming Farmers Night !!! As the country show season is coming to an end and its no longer nice enough weather to sit out and enjoy a pint in the sun Were moving inside and providing a nice cosy atmosphere, open fires and hearty home cooked, good value, meals to keep this social event going throughout the winter months. You can still come on your tractors but there not compulsory, come down in the Land Rover or any other weird and wonderful vehicles you like. Look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday....

We had to share this lovely poem that was in the village newspaper.

It’s always so nice to hear what people think of our little corner of Derbyshire, and this one really captures what makes Lea so special - the village, the green spaces, the gardens, a bit of cake and, of course, a visit to us.. The Jug & Glass!

If you’re looking for somewhere to escape to for a day or a weekend, Derbyshire is the perfect place. With beautiful walks, villages and countryside right on our doorstep, why not make a day of it and pop in to see us?
