⚠️ Is your Alde heating fluid overdue? ⚠️

We recently changed the Alde heating fluid in this 10-year-old caravan. Despite being serviced every year at an AWS-approved workshop, the owner had never been advised that the heating fluid needed replacing.

The system still contained its original blue Alde fluid, which has a recommended service life of just two years.

Old or degraded fluid can lose its corrosion protection, potentially causing damage to the boiler, radiators and other components within the heating system.

If your caravan still has blue fluid—or you’re unsure when it was last changed—it’s worth having it checked.

We’re nearly into September, and with our new, longer season, we’re excited to be open right through until 10th January — no more closing at the end of October.

If you’re dreaming of a peaceful winter escape, we still have spaces available for touring, camping, and in our hire touring caravan. Think crisp countryside walks, cosy nights under dark skies, and a calm festive break away from the hustle.

🐾 Dog‑friendly & firework‑free: We know many dogs struggle at this time of year, so please rest assured — there will be no fireworks on site.

🌿 A Heartfelt Thank You from The Walled Garden 🌿

We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed, visited, volunteered, and showcased their wonderful goods at our Summer Fayre. The support we received was truly overwhelming — especially with this being our very first community event.

Thanks to your generosity, enthusiasm, and kindness, we raised £774 on the day, and when added to the funds already collected through raffle ticket sales, donations and earlier contributions, we are delighted to share that we have officially reached our £1,000 target.

This means we can now move forward with having our life‑saving defibrillator installed in the very near future. We will keep everyone updated with installation details and announce when it is fully in place for our park and local community.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. Your support means the world to us. 💚

✨ Solar Eclipse & Meteor Shower – This Wednesday! ✨
If you’re looking for a magical mid‑week escape, Wednesday 12th August is shaping up to be something truly special here at The Walled Garden Touring Park.

We’re expecting 90% of the sun to be obscured during the solar eclipse, with the peak in Ayrshire just after 7pm. The forecast is looking favourable too — partly to totally clear skies if luck is on our side 🤞

And it doesn’t end there…
After dusk, the meteor shower will be visible overhead, giving us a double celestial show in one night. 🌠

We still have pitches available, so whether you’re a stargazer, a photographer, or just someone who loves a peaceful adults‑only evening under dark skies, this is the perfect night to stay with us.
