Kay's Garden Camp Site

3rd Milton (St Faith's) Brownies visited tonight
They were working on a summer badge.
They were busy playing games and doing a craft. They learnt a little about Kay's Garden wild flowers, the wild orchid
Made their own chocolate bananas in foil. And tried camp donuts! They were very sensible around the fire, and each used the very big oven mitt and held the frying pan over the fire.
And had an ice cream 🙂

Kay's Garden had a lovely Guide Unit visit tonight
They enjoyed using the site for an outdoor cook night.

3rd Milton St Faith's Guides spent the evening at Kay's Garden.
It was rather wet but they managed to change their program and everyone was happy.

They tried popcorn in foil packets and sieves and it worked!

Three guides made the guide promise too

Today we had some lovely Rainbows from Darnley West District Rainbows, visit Kay's Garden.
Hope they enjoyed themselves and the hot weather! I expect they will sleep well tonight

Kay's Garden was visited by;
3rd Milton (Christ Church) Rainbows. 3rd Milton (St. Faith's ) Brownies and Guides. And 11th Milton (Christ Church) Brownies

They gained the Get Active badge.
And made s' mores!
The leaders admired the new steps and railing around the kitchen

Work party today in the sunshine!

Working party today, enjoyed working in the sunshine.
Lots of brambles were cut back! Flowers planted, grass cut
We now have more space for visitors to use
