🐴🌲 A Message from Your Local New Forest Pony 🌲🐴
Hey there, lovely two-legged visitors! It’s me, one of the many proud New Forest ponies who call this beautiful place home. 🐎
I just wanted to trot by with a little reminder: please respect the New Forest Code when you’re out and about. It helps keep us safe, the forest healthy, and your visit peaceful and magical. 🌿✨
Here’s what we kindly ask:
🚫 Don’t feed us – we know we’re cute (just look at this mane!), but human food can make us very ill.
🚗 Drive carefully – we wander the roads too, and we don’t have airbags!
🗑️ Take your litter home – the forest isn’t a bin, and rubbish can harm wildlife.
🌼 Stick to the paths – tramping off-route can damage rare plants and nesting areas.
🐕 Keep dogs under control – a playful pup to you can be terrifying to us or to ground-nesting birds.
We’ve been here for generations, helping shape this landscape. Please help protect it so we can all enjoy it for many more.
