I’ve lived on Exmoor my whole life and somehow never done this walk—can’t believe how peaceful, beautiful, and genuinely stunning the scenery is here.

Starting in the National Trust car park at Malmsmead, we headed up the road for a short while, before heading off onto the bridleway to Badgworthy water.

Passing Cloud farm on the opposite side of side, we followed the river for a couple of miles, before heading back to Malmsmead.

the.buttery.malmsmead was the perfect place to stop for lunch, followed by a browse around the gallery and gift shop. A perfect Sunday spent in the glorious Exmoor countryside.
