Did you know Clark Gable once parked his brand new Jaguar XK120 at the Polurrian?
In 1952, the Hollywood legend was a guest here and these remarkable photos, taken by a fellow guest at the time, have just found their way back to us after more than seventy years.
We think that's a pretty good reason to love this place. But if you need another one, this autumn we're hosting the Loxley 500, a classic vehicle event set right here on the clifftop. Cornwall. Ocean views. Incredible machines.

Something special is coming to the clifftop this bank holiday. 🎬
On Monday 31st August, we're hosting an outdoor cinema, three slots running from midday into the evening, each one a different kind of film.
A family favourite, a singalong and a cult classic, and we're putting the lineup entirely in your hands!

Feeling very blessed to have views like these on our doorstep right now.
