Exciting news for our fluttery friends at Sherwood Forest! 🦋

We recently recorded our very first Green Hairstreak butterfly, a brand-new species for Sherwood Forest’s wildlife records.

This small vibrant butterfly is considered vulnerable and is a priority species in Nottinghamshire, making this sighting even more special. It’s also a positive sign that our ongoing heathland management work is helping to create the right conditions for nature to thrive.

We’re delighted to welcome this beautiful new arrival and celebrate another milestone in supporting biodiversity across the forest. 💚

Celebrating one of Britain’s most loved native species 💚

As our red squirrel emoji petition with The Wildlife Trusts closes tomorrow, we asked the team at Whinfell to share their favourite memories of these auburn forest residents.

Whilst sightings at Whinfell have increased by 24% over the past year, sadly this isn’t the case across the rest of the UK, where only 120,000 red squirrels remain today.

And yet, there isn’t an emoji that represents them as, smartphones currently only feature a North American chipmunk emoji > 🐿️

Together, we can help give this endangered species the recognition they deserve. Check the comments to sign the petition and help safeguard their future.

Have you spotted our Kitt Medical emergency Anaphylaxis Kits?

They've been introduced across all Center Parcs UK villages, alongside specialist allergy-awareness training for our teams, helping us ensure every person feels safe and supported during their break. 💚

Recently, we welcomed Deborah Meaden and Kitt Medical founders, Zak Marks and James Cohen, to Woburn Forest to discuss the importance of improving access to emergency allergy care.

Center Parcs has installed Anaphylaxis Kitts across all UK villages as a qualifying business with occupational health.
