MONDAY 12TH OCTOBER

Right… it’s that time again. ❤️

The pies are back, steaks are coming, Newmarket sausages are joining us, and there’ll be a few proper slow-cooked stews too.

Our Romanian favourites are staying, of course… I couldn’t let them go! 😄

Nothing too fancy. Just good, honest, comforting food — the kind I love cooking when the evenings get colder.

And honestly… I’ve missed it. 🥰

❤️ What a night! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Quiz Night . What a lovely atmosphere — lots of laughs, a little bit of serious competition 😂 and, most importantly, a room full of people coming together for a good cause.

And together, we raised an amazing £140 for the Exning New River Association and Eco Exning and our local chalk stream! 🌿💧

One of my favourite things about the evening was seeing three generations all together, sharing a table, having fun and supporting the same little piece of Exning we all care about. ❤️

And… apparently Roxa the quiz master came out of her shell a little! 😂🙈
Maybe there’s hope for me yet!

Thank you to everyone who played, laughed, cheered, helped and supported the evening.
