The sign on the way into the village says Dilham is the centre of the universe, and our guests tend to agree. 🌍

Stay in one of our pods tucked into a 95 acre nature reserve, paddle our private canal to the pub and finish the day watching the sun go down over the reedbeds.

An autumn Sunday, Norfolk style 🍂

Morning: all hands on deck getting the office s***k and span.

Midday: blowing the cobwebs away on Bacton beach, just 15 minutes from us, with miles of sand and barely a soul about 🌊

Lunch: a well-earned meal at The Gunton Arms, one of our favourite pubs, 15 minutes away. Bangers & mash, fish fingers, and puddings all round 🍨

This is what the Broads and North Norfolk coast do best out of season: big skies, empty beaches and cosy pubs, all on the doorstep.
