Congratulations to Becky & Chris, who became husband and wife here at Brampton Grange on the hottest day of the year so far! ☀️

When they first planned their wedding, nobody could have predicted quite how warm it was going to be.

Their dream was always to say "I do" outdoors, and thankfully our beautiful Sycamore Tree provided plenty of natural shade, allowing guests to enjoy the ceremony in comfort while taking in the stunning countryside views.

The plan was then to dine alfresco in the courtyard, where the magnificent Linden Tree once again came to the rescue, offering welcome shade during a long, relaxed summer feast.

As evening approached, everyone was due to move into the Venice Barn, with its fairy-lit beams, crystal chandeliers and elegant drapes creating the perfect setting for the celebrations to continue.

But something wonderful happened.

Nobody wanted to leave the warm summer evening.

Guests lingered outside, chatting, laughing and making the most of every last moment of sunshine. So rather than sticking rigidly to the timeline, we simply went with it.

Because that's one of the things we've learned after hosting hundreds of weddings, sometimes the best moments aren't the ones you've planned. Sometimes they're the unexpected ones.

Congratulations once again, Becky & Chris. What a truly beautiful summer wedding day it was. ❤️

The Linden Tree… 🌿

Hundreds of years old, quietly standing here at Brampton Grange, it has witnessed so many moments, so much history, and so many love stories beginning beneath its branches.

But did you know the Linden has long been associated with love, marriage and fertility?

With its distinctive heart-shaped leaves and fragrant summer blossoms, it has been seen across cultures as a symbol of romance and devotion. In Norse mythology, it was sacred to Freya and F***g, goddesses of love and marriage, and is often referred to as the “tree of lovers.”

It feels rather fitting, then, that so many couples choose to spend part of their day beneath its canopy, surrounded by something that has symbolised love for centuries. ❤️

Prefer the comfort of an indoor ceremony? Our beautifully restored barn offers a light, airy and fully air-conditioned space that's just as magical.

What we often tell our couples is that there really isn't a wrong choice. Even if you choose an indoor ceremony, you'll still spend so much of your day outdoors, enjoying your drinks reception, capturing those gorgeous photographs, and often returning outside again later in the evening to soak up the views and celebrate with your guests.

And when we say outdoors, we mean everything.

From a beautiful ceremony beneath the Sycamore Tree, to alfresco dining with stunning countryside views, and even an evening celebration under the summer sky, their wedding was the perfect example of making the most of a glorious British summer's day.

The atmosphere was relaxed, joyful and filled with sunshine from start to finish, a day their guests will be talking about for years to come.

Can you spot it?

Our Wedding Specialist did, just minutes before the ceremony was due to begin.

A small vase had been blown over by the wind, leaving part of the tablecloth soaked. While guests were enjoying the excitement of the day, our team quietly stepped in, replaced the tablecloth, reset the display, and made sure everything looked exactly as it should.

A few moments later, guests took their seats and the ceremony began, with nobody any the wiser.

It's often the little things that make the biggest difference. From straightening chairs and adjusting flowers to solving unexpected last minute hiccups, our team is always watching the details so our couples can focus on what really matters.

Because your wedding day deserves nothing less than perfection. ✨
