We’ll be closed from 5pm (last table bookings at 3pm) on Sunday 13th September while the Sugar Beat team celebrates our annual end-of-summer staff party with The Honingham Buck! 🎉

After a summer of early starts, late nights, busy kitchens, behind-the-bar chaos and smashing weddings & celebrations, the team have definitely earned a few drinks! 🥂

Sorry for any inconvenience, but we reckon they’ve earned it! 🍻

To everyone who joined us at SugarBeat on Friday night or Saturday morning and was affected by the power cuts… we’re genuinely sorry. We know how frustrating it is when you’ve come out for food, drinks and a good time… but there’s only so much you can do when the power supply decides it would rather have the weekend off 😅

Unfortunately, the disruption wasn’t caused by us, but by ongoing issues in our area with UK Power Networks. Which have been affecting us on and off for the last four months.

And, just to add a tiny bit of irony to the situation… we happen to have one of the UK’s largest solar farms right next door. Which, as it turns out, is not quite as useful for keeping the lights on as you might think. Who’d have thought?! 🤷‍♂️😂

Jokes aside, we completely understand the inconvenience this has caused, and we’re sorry to anyone whose visit was disrupted. We really appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support while this ongoing issue gets resolved.

We’re proud to support our neighbours, Simons Landscaping Ltd, as they take on the Norwich Dragon Boat Race again this year, raising money for Brave Futures.

Last year they came 2nd, and this year they’re training hard to go one better!

Brave Futures provides vital support to young survivors of sexual abuse, helping them heal and rebuild their lives.
