Just a stone’s throw from the Nuneham Estate is the beautiful Harcourt Arboretum – a lovely place to explore at any time of year. 🌳🍂

It's about a mile's walk from our holiday lets. Simply wander down the lane, turn left at the main road and enjoy a gentle stroll to the entrance through the car park.

And you might even meet a few of the local characters along the way! 🦚

Peacocks roam freely around Nuneham Courtenay, and this weekend we spotted a few perched up in the trees, watching the world go by!

One of the many lovely places right on our doorstep and somewhere we'd definitely recommend visiting during your stay. 💚

Lovely to see the sunshine after all the rain we have had.

Today we have guests who have gone off for a walk and spotted the old pheasant without his tail feathers and also a couple of Muntjanc.

Muntjacs are known as the barking deer or rib-faced deer. So if you are staying with us and hear a barking sound at night, it could be them! Sounds very much like a fox or dog.

A stroll through Oxford City at the weekend in the sunshine. Taking in parks, bridges, wildlife along the river as well as the hustle and bustle of the city.

Park at Redbridge Park & Ride which is close to Nuneham - 10 minutes - and pick up the Thames Path into the city. Walk in, enjoy the City and walk back, or take the bus back!

Property check day …

As well as testing fire alarms and making sure we are safe, I also scan my eye around the properties💕

Emily and the team Hostsmart provide the housekeeping service so know the properties are always cleaned to a very high standard with fluffy towels at the ready!

Reading visitor comments today this is exactly what guests comment on as well as the fact the the properties have all you need for a ‘home from home’ stay.
