Some mornings here are simply beautiful, and this was one of them.

Every December, the plan is the same. A proper catch-up before Christmas, but every December it becomes a quick coffee squeezed between the school run and the shopping.

This year, give it an afternoon.

Festive afternoon tea at Dungallan is best enjoyed slowly, in a warm room looking out over Oban Bay, with everything on the stand baked that morning in our kitchen.
