Yay we finally paid off our bounce back loan!!
That might not sound like much of a celebration but it's a big deal for a small business and time to reflect on how we survived through covid and lock down.
We didnt get a penny during that time, we unfortunately missed out on all the grants which would have been around £20,000 but that's another story!
We decided to purchase a bus during lock down, what else do you do when you have to close your business? . Well what actually happened was Eddy sent me a link of the bus as a joke and I called him at work the following day to say I'd bought it.
His resonse- Are you joking? Did you measure it? My response - Of course I didn't measure it!
Apparently if it had been a few inches longer it wouldn'thave got into our field (minor details 🤪)
So we spent a lot of that crazy covid time stripping out an old double decker bus and turning it into a jungle themed glamping unit which is now our most popular unit.
Covid was a scary, unsettling time for so many business owners and we just want to say a huge thank you to every single person that booked to stay with us when we were allowed to reopen our doors, which enabled us to rebuild our much loved business.
Hideaway really is NOT just a campsite. It's a special place for so many people for so many different reasons.....
It's a place to reconnect with family, loved ones, friends, yourself and nature. It's a tranquil haven to find peace
It's a space to hold your wedding, your birthday celebration, your retreat, your group gathering, your time alone in solitude, your family holiday, or your romantic getaway.
It's a space to propose to your soul mate (3 engagements so far 💍 ❤️)
