What happens when Old World grapes find a new home?

Join us at Lewtrenchard for an evening exploring just that, as we taste our way through familiar grape varieties grown in New World regions.

Across a five-course dinner, each wine will be paired with dishes created to bring out the best of the bottle, while celebrating our own Devon terroir with locally sourced ingredients including Brixham mackerel and Dartmoor beef.

Guiding us through the evening will be guest Sommelier Laura Tattershall from Sovereign Wines, a family-run, Devon-based independent wine merchant.

The Manor’s six Superior Rooms all have king-sized beds and a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere. Miss Quillet, Mrs Curgenven, and Winefred can be twinned.

Pabo, Mehalah and Eve are spacious rooms with views of the surrounding estate, including the gardens, courtyard, hills and woodland. Contemporary en-suite bathrooms add to the splendour of these historic rooms.

Our Four Poster Super King bedrooms in the Manor House – Moth Mullion and Jacquetta – are truly exquisite. ✨

The rooms are reminiscent of manor life centuries ago… but with all the benefits of 21st century amenities, including spacious and contemporary en-suite bathrooms and large roll-top baths.

These beautifully decorated and luxurious rooms have panoramic views of the surrounding gardens and Devonshire countryside. St Gertrude is on the first floor in the main house, also with a four-poster king bed, and an amazing in-room copper bath.
