The STS team spent a week offshore assisting the Burntisland Heritage Trust in their work, and months beforehand in the preparation & design of bespoke dredging equipment that was used extensively during the project.

Just another mobilisation leaving our Oldmeldrum works... a truck loaded with dredging equipment, hydraulic power unit, hoses, subsea basket... and a 4 man offshore team, just an ordinary day at STS... However this mobilisation is anything but ordinary, as we are off on possibly the biggest treasure hunt in British history.
A specially designed 6" dredging system, affectionately known as " Big AL" designed to dredge, capture & filter spoil so the archeology team can do their stuff in dating & identification of relics hundreds of years old.
We wish Cameron, Billy, Scotty & Findlay all the very best of luck!

June off to a busy start!

Our boulder grabs Ragnarok & Weerok off to Germany, for a lengthy campaign along with our 22 kW HPU & hose reeler.

Not to be outdone, our 20 Ton grab Havnaerok is on its way to a South East port to commence operations in the North Sea.

What a day!

All of us at STS are delighted to have been awarded another subsea dredging spread.

One of our long standing customers has secured the supply of both an

8 and 10” diver-operated piranha dredger.

A very 🎊 Happy 60th Birthday 🎊to Bruce, 🎂🍾who was in collecting 2 x 23ft subsea baskets from our yard this morning and delivering them to the client's vessel.
Bruce has been picking up & dropping off equipment from our Oldmeldrum base since 2015 through our haulage contactor I.& L. Burnett who have given us 11 years of excellent service.
We hope you enjoy a glass of bubbles 🍾 tonight Bruce.

We hadn’t seen the sun in Oldmeldrum for weeks, so when it finally appeared yesterday afternoon, we took a photo to remind ourselves what it looks like. Of course, a truck loaded with STS ROV dredgers, grabs, and subsea baskets just happened to steal part of the spotlight on its way to one of our valued clients’ vessels.
