Just a reminder about the charity event I’ve organised on 1st June, 6 p.m to 10.30 p.m, at Saxby Cider Farm, Farndish.
Ian’s band ‘All Fired Up’ are playing.
Ember restaurant are selling food and a range of drinks will be sold.
Any profits for the event will be used for a Christmas party for children with coeliac disease.

We’re reopen again today after being closed for 2 weeks to completely redecorate the barn. Thank you to for a top class job 👌. We’ve used Farrow and Ball anthracite in the living area, Cornforth white in the dining/kitchen area, All White in the bathroom and Wevet again in the bedroom. We’ve also replaced the bed to one without an end after feedback from a couple of very tall guests. The place looks so lovely and fresh now 🥰

I can’t get Ian to cook a meal at home 🙄 but give him a camp fire, a pen knife and a few basic tools and he suddenly he’s in his elements and planning a wild camping trip to Scotland. Sounds great but I’m sure I’ll be looking forward to a lovely comfortable airbandb after a night or two roughing it. Has anyone wild camped? Any tips welcomed!

It’s been so nice to have a few days off to enjoy the lovely weather. We’ve got so many gorgeous country houses in Northamptonshire, many of which open their homes and gardens for visitors. Today we enjoyed the Kelmarsh show which is on annually. The highlights for me were the and a fantastic display of amazingly trained horses but there was something for everyone with dog display teams, Viking’s, stunt bikes, falconry as well as live music, childrens rides and loads of stalls. It’s also on tomorrow if you fancy a great day out

Great to see at last night. This was my husbands favourite band in the 80s and he always used to sing this song ‘walk forever by my side’ to me. We loved it so much that we chose this song as the music for our first dance at our wedding 🥰. Ian was is his element last night re living his younger mosh pit days 😂. What’s your favourite song from your teenage years?

Just down the road from us we have Wellingborough Golf Club. Founded in 1893 this championship course is set in 160 acres of beautiful parkland. I’m not a golfer myself but my parents and sons play here and over the years I’ve enjoyed many events such as the summer ball, outside music events, weddings or like today, just enjoying a glass of wine overlooking the green 👌
