🌿 Happy Saturday from Whitelee Holiday Cottages! 🏡

Saturday means changeover day here at Whitelee, and we’re busy getting Rowan, Oak and Birch Cottages ready to welcome our new guests this afternoon. 💚

There’s something lovely about knowing that, in just a few hours, another group of guests will be arriving, unpacking their bags and settling in for a peaceful Northumberland escape.

Whether the week ahead involves pulling on the walking boots and exploring the countryside, discovering some of Northumberland’s wonderful places, spending quality time with family and friends, or simply slowing down and enjoying the peace and quiet, we hope you have a fantastic stay with us.

🌿 Midweek at Whitelee Holiday Cottages… how are you spending yours? 🏡

We’re halfway through the week, and we hope everyone staying with us at Whitelee is making the most of their time here in beautiful Northumberland. 💚

Perhaps you’ve been pulling on your walking boots and exploring the countryside, heading out for a day of sightseeing, spotting some of our wonderful local wildlife… or simply enjoying the peace and quiet back at your cottage.

Sometimes the best holiday moments are the simplest ones — a slow morning with a cuppa, a countryside walk with the dog, a good book, an evening together or simply having nowhere you need to be. ☕🐾🌿

🍂 September is simply beautiful in Northumberland… 🦋🌿

There’s something rather special about this time of year at Whitelee Holiday Cottages.

Summer hasn’t quite said goodbye, the countryside is still wonderfully green and, as this beautiful visitor reminds us, there’s still plenty of colour and wildlife to enjoy. 💜

September is perfect for pulling on your walking boots, heading out into the Northumberland countryside and enjoying those quieter days when you can really appreciate the landscape around you.

Then, after a day exploring, it’s back to the comfort of your cottage to put your feet up, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. 🏡

🍂 Hello September! 🍂

A new month has arrived, bringing with it the first hints of autumn and another beautiful season to enjoy here in Northumberland. 🌿

September is a wonderful time to escape to Whitelee Holiday Cottages. The countryside begins to change colour, the walking trails become a little quieter and there’s something rather lovely about returning from a day outdoors to the warmth and comfort of your own cosy cottage.

Whether you’re planning long walks, wildlife watching, peaceful mornings with a cuppa or simply a few days away from the everyday, Rowan, Oak and Birch Cottages are ready to welcome you.

The August Bank Holiday weekend is here, and we can’t think of many better places to spend it than surrounded by the peace and beauty of the Northumberland countryside. 💚

Whether your perfect long weekend involves pulling on your walking boots and heading out to explore, enjoying a leisurely morning coffee with a countryside view, spotting some of our wonderful local wildlife, or simply curling up and enjoying the peace and quiet… this is what Bank Holiday weekends were made for.
