Sat 27th June is and Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre are celebrating. Just a few minutes walk from Cwtch, Nyth and Ffau Bach

Saturday 27th June will be Armed Forces Day, and the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre is proud to welcome the public to join us in a special service to honour the entire Armed Forces community. Representatives will attend from all military organisations and the cadet forces, alongside the Mayors of Pembroke Dock and Pembroke.
The event will be held outdoors at the West door of the chapel. The service will begin at 11am sharp.
On this special day public entry to the museum after the service is free of charge. Complimentary refreshments will be available from our Coffee Bar. There is ample free parking in the grounds. The Centre is fully accessible, offering step free access to all exhibits, and with disabled toilets. https://pdht.org/whats-on

Hot weather can be brilliant for beach days, BBQs and ice creams, but it can also mean our local takeaway businesses see a dip in orders.

So here’s a simple summer idea: support your favourite local takeaway and turn it into a proper little evening out.

Order your favourite food, pack a few plates, cutlery, napkins and some cold drinks, then pick up your takeaway and head to your favourite beach. Find a nice spot, sit back, eat, chat, relax and watch the sunset. (Give plenty of time to collect! - It's hot in kitchens, so leave plenty of time between ordering and collection. Let's not make this awkward!)

No cooking. No washing up. No stress. Just good food, good company and a view that beats any restaurant window.

Call it a new bucket list tick: a super summer takeaway soiree by the sea! 🌅

And one important thing: please take a bin bag with you. Pop all your rubbish in it afterwards and take it home or use the nearest proper bin.
