Street parking is available directly outside Abbey House, with complimentary parking discs provided for our guests. We also have two private parking spaces at the rear of the property, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that these spaces cannot be reserved in advance.

Relax, unwind and make yourself at home in Room 5 🩶

Tucked away on the top floor of our beautiful Victorian townhouse, Room 5 is a warm, cosy and peaceful little retreat, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle and enjoying some well-deserved relaxation.

We’ve recently added a lovely new desk and vanity area, complete with a hairdryer and two attachments, bringing even more home comforts to your stay.

A little note about Room 5: As this is our charming attic room, it is accessed via stairs to the top floor, including a final staircase leading up to the room.

Please bear this in mind when booking, particularly if you have heavy luggage or find stairs a little tricky.

Whether you’re visiting for work, exploring the beautiful Lake District or simply enjoying a relaxing getaway, Room 5 is a lovely place to rest and recharge.

Nestled at the very top of our beautiful Victorian townhouse, Room 5 is a cosy and peaceful retreat, full of charm and character. We're now able to accommodate 2 more people along with our other 4 rooms!

Tucked away in our attic, just 15 steps up from the second floor, this lovely new room offers a little extra privacy and a relaxing space to unwind.

Complete with a comfortable double bed, a brand-new private en-suite shower room, new TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and complimentary continental breakfast, we've thought of the little touches to make your stay feel special.

Please note that due to its attic location and stair access, Room 5 is best suited to guests with good mobility.
