What a year it’s been for Bredon View 🤎

Sometimes, when you’re so busy with the day to day running of a business, you forget to stop and appreciate just how far you’ve come.

Putting this little recap together has been such a lovely reminder of everything we’ve experienced over the past year, and how lucky we are to be doing something we genuinely love.

We feel we’ve had such a wonderful journey as hosts so far, and a huge part of that is down to the lovely guests we’ve welcomed along the way.

Whether you’ve stayed with us, recommended us to someone, or simply followed along on here, thank you for being part of it.

We really can’t wait to welcome even more of you to Bredon View and see what the next year brings.

Because it’s always cabin trips in the open countryside air over city trips.

The whole reason behind Bredon View is the beautiful countryside setting we’re so lucky to be in.

A place where wildlife feels comfortable enough to make itself at home, where it’s quiet enough to hear animals you’ve never even heard before, and where the views encourage you to simply sit and stare.

You’ll go on plenty of city trips in your life, but I think perhaps it’s the countryside stays that really stick with you.

One of our favourite things about being based just outside the Cotswolds is that you really do get the best of both worlds.

You can spend the day village hopping, wandering around the shops, stopping for lunch and exploring all those Cotswolds spots you’ve had saved for months.

Then, when you’ve had enough of the busy villages, you can leave the crowds behind and head back to your own little corner of the countryside.

And the only decision left to make is where you’re staying… in a hobbit house, The Form or The Cocoon?

So… what do you think?

After months of planning, building and just making it perfect, The Cocoon is finally here.

Made just for two and tucked away in its own little corner of Bredon View, it’s completely different to anything we’ve created before.

You’ve got those incredible countryside views (including Bredon Hill, of course), your own hot tub, evenings around the fire pit and plenty of little hidden quirks inside that we’ll let you discover for yourselves.

It feels private, cosy and just a little bit magical, exactly what we hoped The Cocoon would become.

And seeing some of you book it before we’d even shown you the finished cabin has made finally revealing it feel even more special 🥹

We really cannot wait for you to experience this one.

We’re big believers that the best cabin stays are the ones where staying in feels like the best plan.

The slowest of mornings with a cooked breakfast, afternoons spent soaking outside, something nice for dinner and then getting cosy for the evening with your favourite film.

So, we open the doors to The Cocoon this weekend!

It’s been a long time coming, and now that it’s finally finished, we thought we’d give you an extra little sneak peek…

We also just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s booked a stay (without even seeing all of it!!). We hope you love it just as much as we do 🤎
