A true love story. ❤️

Forget flowers and fancy dinners. Give us a warm sticky toffee pudding, absolutely swimming in toffee sauce, a big scoop of vanilla ice cream and a pint of Guinness.

Or a loaded hot chocolate, because apparently we’re incapable of doing anything in moderation.

Cosy corners, proper pints, homemade stone-baked pizzas, fresh pasta and our new panuozzo sandwiches.

Basically, everything you could want from your local. Just with a little more Parmesan.

And yes, we reckon our Italian food is some of the best around. Come and tell us otherwise. 👀

A little update from us at The Star! ⭐️

We’ve made the decision to put our weekend breakfasts on hold for the foreseeable future.

This means we’ll now be opening from 12pm every day, including Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

But don’t worry, everything else is business as usual! Plenty of homemade pizza, pasta, good food and proper pints to keep you going. 🍕🍺

A big thank you to everyone who’s joined us for breakfast over the weekends. We really appreciate your support!

Not your average sandwich. Not even close. 🤌

Our homemade, stone-baked panuozzos landed this week and we’re already wondering how we ever lived without them.

Fresh pizza dough, folded, baked in our pizza oven and stuffed with some seriously good fillings.

From chicken Parmo to meatball marinara, we’ve gone a little overboard with these. And we’re not sorry about it.

We take our homemade pizza dough, fold it, stone-bake it in our pizza oven until beautifully golden, then stuff it full of proper Italian flavours.

Freshly made. Stone-baked. Stuffed with the good stuff. 🤤

We’re saying goodbye to our focaccia sandwiches and making way for something rather special.
