Success isn’t always measured by crossing a finish line.

This weekend, Kevin Woodward set out to walk the entire 84 miles of Hadrian’s Wall non-stop to raise money and awareness for Andy’s Man Club.

He battled through the night, tackled some brutal terrain, climbed to the highest point of the route, covered 50 miles on exhausted legs, and pushed himself far beyond what most of us can imagine.

In the end, injuries, blisters and repeated falls forced him to stop before reaching the finish. Knowing when to stop wasn’t quitting, it was making the sensible decision to protect himself from serious injury.

But this challenge was never just about the mileage.

It was about raising awareness for men’s mental health. It was about starting conversations. It was about shining a light on a charity that changes lives.

Kevin’s own words say more than any of us could:

“Please continue to spread the word about Andy’s Man Club, it’s saved my life and many many others.”

For the team at BNI Fair City that’s what makes this challenge a success.

🚶‍♂️ THIS WEEKEND 🚶‍♂️

While most of us are enjoying a well-earned weekend, BNI Perthshire member Kevin Woodward will be taking on an incredible challenge to raise money and awareness for Andy’s Man Club.

Kevin is attempting to walk the entire 84 miles of Hadrian’s Wall NON-STOP.

No sleep.
No long breaks.
Just a continuous push from coast to coast.

Why?

Because too many men are still struggling in silence.

Andy’s Man Club provides a safe space where men can talk openly, honestly and without judgement. The work they do changes lives and helps tackle the stigma surrounding men’s mental health.

This challenge isn’t just about endurance. It’s about raising awareness, starting conversations and reminding people that nobody should have to face their hardest battles alone.

Kevin will be pushing himself physically and mentally over June 6th and 7th, and every donation helps support the incredible work Andy’s Man Club does across the UK.

This week’s Best Weekly Presentation award was won with a pitch that struck a chord with anyone who’s ever stepped into a conservatory during a Scottish heatwave! ☀️🥵

Apparently, there are conservatories across Perthshire currently reaching temperatures normally associated with the surface of the sun…

From rooms that are too hot in summer and freezing in winter, to spaces that are currently doubling up as an air fryer for the family dog 🐶🔥, Cheryl highlighted how modern solar reflective glass and insulated roof systems can completely transform a conservatory into a comfortable, usable living space all year round.
