Just to let you know we close for camping this weekend 27th September.

The weather this week is going to be amazing so make the most of the last chance to camp and get out in the countryside.

Campfires are now allowed too!

Hi Campers

Autumn maybe in the air but the days are still warm and sunny. The downs look beautiful with plenty of blackberries in the hedgerows.

There are just a few weekends left now to camp.

We are ideally located for Goodwood Revival being only 10 mins drive from the event. Escape the crowds at the end of the day to peaceful countryside sitting around a campfire with b**r in hand!

We are now back selling logs every day between 5-6pm.

Hi Campers,

Just to update you around campfires, we are now allowing campfires again and selling logs on the campsite.

It looks like a favourable forecast in September with some still warm sunny weather. We are open until the last weekend in September if you want to get one more camping fix before the long dark winter!

Hi Campers

Just to advise you in advance we are unfortunately having to prohibit campfires at this time due to the extremely dry conditions and risk of wildfires. I am sure you have all seen the news with the terrible situation in Europe and other uk national parks.

We are however still allowing charcoal bbqs off the ground and camping gas stoves also kept away from the ground.

We hope this still allows you to enjoy your stay. Obviously should it rain considerably before your stay we will change the current restriction.

Our campsite is situated in the dark sky reserve; this means that we have the best environment to star gaze and view the eclipse on the 12th August (safety glasses recommended).

Come and enjoy a back to nature authentic camping experience on the South Downs and hopefully see this phenomena cloud cover permitting.
