✨The Carrs is one of our most sought-after cottages — a characterful, comfortable retreat for two couples or a family of four (plus the dog!) 🐾

Both bedrooms have their own private bathroom, while the cosy living area, complete with a log burner, opens onto a south-facing patio and private enclosed garden — the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

We still have a few rare weeks available in August and September, but they won’t be around for long!

Bransdale is the perfect cottage for a family of four, and dogs are welcome too! This cosy cottage features an open plan living space and a private, enclosed south facing garden, ideal for relaxing summer days.

June is now fully booked in Bransdale, but there is still some availability in July and August for a wonderful North Yorkshire summer escape with family and friends — paws included 🐾

Pickering is on our doorstep which makes leaving the car behind easy. One of our favourite recommendations would be a wander up Castlegate to Pickering Castle.

Originally built after the Norman Conquest this medieval fortress has stood watch over the town for more than 900 years. Explore ancient walls and enjoy sweeping views across the Vale of Pickering - particularly stunning at sunset.

"Hungate Cottages are something quite special in this beautiful part of Yorkshire. Peaceful apart from birdsong and church bells. Our hosts Richard and Rachel always give us a warm welcome and the cottages are presented beautifully. Nothing is too much trouble. This is our fifth visit, and definitely won't be our last."
