Fish and chips by day, ghosts and ghouls by night! 🦇👻

By day, the seagulls rule the skies, fishing boats come and go, and visitors wander the cobbled streets enjoying fish and chips by the harbour.

But as darkness falls, Whitby takes on a whole new character…

The ancient Abbey ruins loom over the town, the narrow streets become wonderfully atmospheric, and tales of Dracula, ghosts and mysterious happenings feel just a little more believable!

And with Whitby Goth Weekend in full swing, the town is alive with elaborate costumes, Gothic fashion and wonderfully colourful characters celebrating one of the most magical weekends of the year.
