🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃

We're fully booked in our cabins for the spooky weekend, and we just LOVE these pumpkins, beautifully carved by one of our favourite returning guests, Lilibet!

After carving her pumpkins, Lilibet took the leftovers over to feed our chickens, who have since decided she's their new favourite person. 😂🐔

Lilibet also enjoyed an autumnal woodland walk with Ozzy and Rupert, capturing this brilliant photo of Ozzy, who had decided to help himself to a few flowers to carry along the way! Pumpkin carving, making friends with the chickens and a peaceful wander through the autumn woods. Not a bad way to spend a few days away! 🧡

This is Bridget. Bridget is a chicken. Bridget thinks she is an alpaca and likes to come on alpaca walks and follows me everywhere I go. 🥰🐔

When you stay with us, our aim is to give you a real sense of peace, privacy and seclusion. 🌳
Unfortunately, our alpacas and llamas haven't quite got the message and may occasionally stand at your garden gate and stare at you. Sorry about that. 🦙😂

Autumn is such a lovely time for an alpaca or llama walk! 🍂🦙

Wrap up warm, wander through our peaceful woodland and enjoy a little fresh air and some rather wonderful company along the way. 🥰

Our little honesty shop is now open too, with alpaca gifts, handmade goodies and fresh eggs from the Darling hens. 🐔

From a sunset stroll with the alpacas & llamas to a very special surprise waiting back at their cabin, it was one of those evenings we'll remember for a long time.

Still feeling very lucky that we got to be a little part of their story. 🥹❤️🦙
