Knockinaam Lodge has 10 bedrooms which can be let individually or as exclusive use as a whole, ideal for family celebrations, weddings, anniversaries, board meetings, film crews alike. National Geographic has just named Dumfries and Galloway one of its Best of the World destinations for 2027, and based on the sunset we captured a few days ago, along our coastline, that’s no surprise.

The piece takes in the new 83-mile Rhins of Galloway Coast Path as well as shining a light on the dark skies over Galloway Forest Park. We’re very happy to see a region that’s been quietly brilliant for a long time, finally getting the recognition it deserves.

Huge credit to Discover South Scotland - Scotland Starts Here for the work that’s gone into putting this part of the world on the map. Truly lucky to be part of this region.
