Storm Boelo has arrived at Killantringan Lighthouse Keepers Cottage, and Mother Nature is putting on quite a show! 🌪️🌊

The winds are so fierce that the waterfall is actually flowing UPWARDS! Yes, you read that correctly! 💦⬆️

Perched on Scotland’s dramatic southwest coastline, we’re certainly no strangers to wild weather, but sights like this never fail to amaze us! ❤️

There’s something incredibly spectacular about watching the raw power of nature from our little corner of Dumfries & Galloway.

🏡 Thankfully, our cosy cottage is the perfect place to watch the drama unfold from the warmth and comfort of indoors!

Perched on the dramatic coastline near Portpatrick, with breathtaking views across the Irish Sea, we can’t think of a more spectacular place to reach the end of such an incredible adventure! 🌅

We’re incredibly proud that this stunning corner of Dumfries & Galloway, and the place we’re lucky enough to call our little piece of paradise, is getting some well-deserved attention.

After yesterday’s wild and dramatic storm, we’ve woken up to a beautiful autumnal morning here at Killantringan Lighthouse Keepers Cottage. 🍁☀️

The wind has eased, the skies have brightened, and there’s a wonderful sense of peace along this spectacular stretch of the Dumfries & Galloway coastline. 🌊

There’s something truly magical about this place, whether the waves are crashing against the rocks or the autumn sunshine is lighting up the coastline. ❤️
