Based in the beautiful South Norfolk countryside, Driftways is a family run Glamping & Camping site, close to local amenities. Set in 4.5 acres but with only 13 pitches including 5 Bell Tent Glamping structures, oversize pitches are cut in the meadow with lots of space to enjoy nature & outdoor living. Every pitch has a clean compost toilet, firepit and picnic bench and there are hot showers available. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday, that feels remote but with access to all that Norfolk has to offer then please book to come and stay with us.

Couldn't resist this morning.

Blue sky, sun on the field, leaves turning. So I've had a shower outside on the campsite. At the end of October.

Our showers are off grid and gas heated, so you get proper hot water with the sky as your ceiling. Honestly one of my favourite things about this place.

Who else would brave it? 🙋‍♀️

We're in the middle of the storm and honestly it's beautiful out there. But very very windy. So I went over the road to check nothing had come down on the campsite.

And it's all still standing. Every bit of it survived. Apparently it's only a gale now rather than a full on storm, so there's that at least.

Its on days like this when were so grateful for our outbuildings, even when theyre not in the best of shape. And thankfully the horses are all happy together ❤️ and the well should be ok going forwards :S stay safe out there.

Sorry we've gone a bit quiet. We've basically been doing what Dante and Gator are doing here.

Curled up. Not moving. Not apologising for it either.

Firelighters are stacked and ready. The log burner's going on any day now. It's definitely autumn 🍂

If you fancied a last-minute weekend away, this one's for you - big skies, the grass freshly cut, and the campervan pitch still open. October evenings here are properly lovely: cooler air, clear stars, and that last bit of golden sun before the leaves really turn.

The tractor's been and gone, and the field the tents sit in has gone properly quiet. Just cut grass, the hedges turning gold and a big blue sky.

Days like this are why we do it.

Farmer Francis came over to make hay today - and honestly, watching it happen never stops giving me joy. It's such a good reminder of what this place gives back to us, to the animals, to all of us really.

Willow came back from a 10-mile pleasure ride on Sunday looking a bit lame. Partly because she's getting on a bit. Mostly because she just doesn't fancy walking properly. She also kicked poor Micky twice with that exact leg beforehand, so we're calling it karma.

Meanwhile Lammy the sheep had somehow got an entire feed bucket stuck over her head and was just standing there, completely unbothered, waiting for someone to notice.

Never a quiet day here.
