🔊 Blue Thunder Sound invests in d&b audiotechnik SL-Series, supplied by 22live, following Authorised Rental Supplier appointment!

The South West-based company has taken delivery of XSL, XSL-SUB and SL-SUB systems, powered by D40 and D90 amplifiers, with KSL systems set to join its inventory shortly.

The investment follows 22live’s appointment as a d&b audiotechnik Authorised Rental Supplier, strengthening its ability to support rental companies across the UK with dedicated sales stock, demonstrations, part-exchange and sub-hire.

The d&b audiotechnik SL-series PA System uses a combination of KSL & XSL Mains, SL-SUB, VP & YP Fills to cover all venues.

Dual DiGiCo Q326 consoles take care of control FoH and Monitors with Fourier Audio transform.engine.

Sennheiser Spectera handles all RF with a combination of SKM Handhelds and SEK bodypacks for Onstage and IEMs

System Control uses a 22Live Outline Professional Audio Newton Drive Rack with MIPRO wireless RF and Rational Acoustics SMAART System Analysis.

This Complete production audio package for 'The Australian Pink Floyd Show' leaves the warehouse for the third time this year to start its tour of UK and Ireland.

The tour is carrying Martin Audio Ltd WPC with SXC118 Subs driven via an Outline Professional Audio Newton drive rack.

DiGiCo Quantum 5 Consoles are at FoH and Monitors. Upgrades to the system for 2026 include the addition of a bidirectional Sennheiser Spectera wireless system of SKM handhelds and SEK bodypacks.

After hosting another successful Yamaha DM-Series training session with Tom Rundle expertly demonstrating the latest feature-sets and operating concepts alongside an introduction to the upgraded hardware of the DM5 and DM5C consoles, we are delighted to ship this console package to .

This package features a Yamaha DM5 console in a custom 3-part touring flight case with inbuilt 2U rackspace for UPS and integrated screen and laptop stands. The console was also provided with PY-DSP expansion card for an additional 32 slots of DSP processing and access to the premium rack plug-in suite.

This dual live stage and multi venue package leaves the 22live warehouse for a high-profile event in London this weekend.

Both live stages utilise d&b audiotechnik while Martin Audio Ltd PA packages have been deployed across the site covering various venues and spaces.

Control duties at the main live stage utilise DiGiCo Quantum 326 with Waves at FOH and Yamaha Professional Audio DM7 on MONS, with onstage RF and IEMs covered by Shure Axient Digital.

Across the site multiple venues and spaces are operated via additional Yamaha and ALLEN & HEATH consoles, and with inputs coming from more live acts as well as DJ’s.

This Sales package was delivered with a quick turnaround to head out on tour with the Ultimate Eagles.

In under 3 weeks from initial contact to delivery we pulled together a custom RF and Stage rack build with an ALLEN & HEATH dLive C1500 system package on control duties.

The rack build includes two 22Live tour-spec racks housing Sennheiser 2000 series IEM and Shure ULXD RF systems. Everything was given a home including custom foam drawer inserts to provide storage for transmitters, antennas and DPA Microphones instrument microphones. Custom panels integrated Link Connect LK Multipins for simplified connectivity between the RF and stage rack ensuring fast deployment on site. Alongside power distribution, the Klvr Charger Pro – capable of charging up to 48 AA/AAA batteries in a 1U rack mount unit - provides reliable 1.5V rechargeable power to both Shure and Sennheiser devices night after night.

This system is built for the demands of touring and whatever touring life can throw at it!
