Yes it was a long time ago that we got married…. And you cannot replace years of experience with the voice of social media! Which is why we stubbornly stick to our max numbers of 24. Small weddings are just the best - end of.

Yes we could be cheaper, but we love that we offer something a bit more luxurious than your standard holiday cottage in Cornwall.

We’ve thought about removing all of these luxuries and leaving guests to sort themselves out, but we love to make our guests feel a little more looked after.

I could also harp on about unlimited dishwasher tablets, loo rolls, washing up liquid, and boring things like that but o don’t have pretty photos of those!!

Not just another holiday cottage….

I promise you will thank me!

Happy travellers are those that don’t have a precise ‘time to beat’ fixed in their heads but embrace the journey. We have found some really good lunch stops over the years and particularly like Teals when coming down the A303, and Mollie’s Motel & Diner on the M5.

We include a pizza night on arrival for all one week school holiday stays but you can book your own however long you are staying.

Unlike other holiday cottages we don’t greet you with a freezing cold hot tub on arrival, but we light it and try our best to get it as warm as possible (weather can sometimes make this a challenge!)

We pride ourselves on the best welcome hampers in every cottage - if you let us know your start requirements we can do our best to match it to your needs (there is also always vegan ice cream in the Piggery).

Just don’t do it.
Many years of travelling to Cornwall before we moved here taught us this simple rule. And is exactly why our changeover days are Thursdays and Sundays!
