Our meat draw is moving to Fridays! 🍖

Join us every Friday from 5pm for The Star Inn Meat Draw, with the draw taking place after 6pm. Tickets are just £1 each, so pop in, grab yours and you could be heading home with something for the weekend!

And a date for your diary… Our BIG Christmas Meat Draw is happening on Sunday 20th December! 🎄

Christmas draw tickets go on sale from 1st November, so make sure you get yours!

A little progress update from The Star Inn.

Our bedroom renovations are coming along nicely, with fresh panelling, warm neutral tones and plenty of attention to the little details.
We're keeping the character of our traditional inn while giving the rooms a much-needed refresh.

Still a bit of work to go, but we're looking forward to showing you the finished result.

We're always looking at how we can make The Star even better, and the best people to ask are the ones who drink here.

So, a few questions for you:

Guest ales. We've got Dorset Brewing Company, Palmers, Electric Bear, Piddle and Hop Back all happy to work with us. Which of their beers would you like to see on the bar? Any other breweries we should be talking to?

Sunday roasts. Is that something you'd come in for?

Monday quiz night. We're thinking quiz plus a burger and a pint deal. Would you be up for it?

Live music. Would you like to see more of it?
