Yesterday, 30 of hospitality's rising stars under 30 were celebrated at The Caterer 2026 Acorn Awards on the Swinton Estate.

This was a particularly special celebration for us as our very own Assistant Country Club & Spa Manager, Hannah Newsome, was named as one of the winners.

Hannah has been part of the Swinton Estate team for over nine years, progressing her career since the Swinton Country Club & Spa opened in 2017. That Hannah's dedication has been recognised in such a way is a fantastic achievement and is a great honour to the Swinton Estate.

Hannah says, "I am so proud to have been named one of the 30 Acorn winners for 2026!

"The highlight was meeting my fellow Acorns. It was inspiring to hear their stories, learn about their journeys, and spend time with such a passionate group of people."

What an evening it was at the Southern Social Country Music Night at the Deer House - a sellout success! Sunshine, live country music, line dancing, and great food came together for a brilliant evening on the Swinton Estate.
