Today’s gentle yoga class wasn’t quite as gentle as planned… somehow we ended up exploring Crow Pose! 😄

After class, it was time to get the studio ready for Emma’s lovely afternoon retreat, complete with freshly baked scones waiting for her guests.

One of the things I love about our space is how flexible it can be. Whether you’re planning a retreat, workshop, training day, wellbeing event or group gathering, we can help create a welcoming experience with catering options and timings tailored to your needs.

I'm thinking about adding some new 30-minute classes to the timetable and would love your thoughts.

The idea is simple: practical movement to help you stay strong, steady and active for everyday life.

Using bodyweight exercises, balance work and optional ankle and wrist weights, the classes could focus on things like:

✔️ Strength
✔️ Balance
✔️ Core
✔️ Posture
✔️ Mobility
✔️ Moving with more confidence

Perfect if an hour-long class feels too much, or if you'd like to add a little extra strength and stability into your week.

I'm also thinking about offering them at different times and on different days, potentially up to 5 days a week, to make them easier to fit around work, family and life.

Introducing Monday Unwind with Jessica

Mondays at 6.45pm

A gentle and welcoming yoga class designed to help you leave the day behind and ease into the week ahead.

Through flowing movement, mindful stretching, breath awareness and relaxation, you'll have the opportunity to release tension, reconnect with yourself and simply take a pause from the busyness of life.

No need to be flexible. No need to have practised yoga before.

Just an hour to move, breathe and unwind.

You'll leave feeling calmer, looser and more present, ready for whatever the week brings.

Sunday was a gentler kind of adventure. ✨

After waking early and giving my body some much-needed yoga, I enjoyed a hearty breakfast of French toast before heading out to explore Podgorica with a few of the other ladies.

One of our group was a geocaching expert, and under her guidance we managed to find 5 hidden caches around the city. We even spotted a wild tortoise casually strolling through a park, as if it was the most normal thing in the world!

A fresh salad for lunch, a quick snooze in the sunshine in the local park, a relaxing game of Qwirkle, and then it was time to begin the journey home.

This trip has been full of contrasts—effort and ease, mountains and cities, movement and stillness. A beautiful reminder that yoga isn’t just something we do on a mat. It’s in the way we meet each moment, whether we’re climbing mountains or resting under a tree.

I’m heading home with tired legs, a full heart, and memories that will stay with me for a very long time. 🙏🥾💛

Saturday’s trek took us from Albania into Montenegro. 🥾⛰️

Another climb to 1,800m, over rugged terrain and steep inclines, followed by an even longer descent. In total, 11 hours on the trail.

There were moments when it was tough, and moments when it was beautiful. I found myself drawing on the Yamas and Niyamas, using plenty of inner work to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

These mountains have a way of teaching you things. I know this experience has changed me.

Most of all, I’ve been reminded that I am so much stronger than I think I am.

Day 1 complete! 🥾⛰️
1,800m climbed, 8 hours on the trail, and some of the most breathtaking scenery I’ve ever seen.
Today brought rugged mountain paths, crystal-clear streams, patches of snow, sunshine, wind, and views that made every step worthwhile.
Tonight’s reward? A proper hiker’s dinner of soup, potatoes, vegetables and cake!
Ready for bed now, as tomorrow brings another mountain and a border crossing into Montenegro. Adventure continues…

Made it to Albania! 🇦🇱

A delayed flight, a coach, a boat, and what feels like 48 hours of travelling later, I’m finally in the Albanian Alps.

Trekking starts tomorrow. Tonight? Food, mountains, and an early night!
