Saughtree Railway Station Saughtree Station was once a working Victorian railway station but is now a delightful retreat in the picturesque Liddesdale Valley.

The old Station Master's House is ideal for families or friends seeking a peaceful break surrounded by nature's splendour. Unique accommodation in an 1862 North British railway station at Saughtree in the Scottish Borders with railway track laid and diesel engine, wagons and guards van, platform bench and platelayers hut. Close to Kielder Lakes and Observatory. Enjoy the views and wildlife which regularly appears in the well appointed garden.
