We were visited by the AA inspector recently who re -confirmed our 2AA Rosette accolade.

It is the fourteenth year in a row The Mermaid has been recognised for the quality of both the Restaurant and the Bar dining experience.

The view of the inspector has been underpinned by recent reviews…..

This coming Saturday is the 82nd anniversary of D-Day and to mark this date we will be screening ‘WWII - Rye’s Story’ at Rye Heritage Centre. As historic scenes unfold across the model of Rye’s miniature streets, you’ll see not only Rye’s own resilience but its role within the region’s shared experience - from coastal defences and blackout nights to the quiet endurance of everyday families.
