New Sunday Menu & New Autumn Menu
+ Specials TONIGHT Saturday

We are delighted to have a new recruit sous chef, Aidan, to add to our brigade under our longstanding and outstanding Head Chef Shane.

Standby for some fresh ideas brought into the mix alongside our trusty favourites.

Tonight is the last weekend of our summer menu + a few specials, including
Baked Lemon Sole - crushed new potato cake, sauteed green beans, citrus buerre blanc)

We are launching our new Autumn menu this coming week. Look out for:
-Smoky Aubergine Dip – pomegranate seeds, Dukkah, flatbread
-Hoisin Duck Bao Buns – cucumber, spring onion, crispy duck
-Venison Casserole – buttered new potatoes, wilted spinach,
-Honey-glazed Partridge – blackcurrants, quince puree, creamed shard, braised chestnut, fondant potato, blackberry red w**e jus
-Lemon Frangipane Tart – lemon curd, vanilla ice-cream

It is looking like a glorious evening for some al fresco dining under the wisteria listening to our cycling troubador busker, Tony Black, who is joining us again TONIGHT.

We first discovered Tony while he was on a sabbatical from teaching English, cycling and busking his way from John O'Groats to Land's End.

Tony has a great repertoire of favourites that always hit the spot, including a good number of nostalgic classics - just ask!

Quiz Night
Friday 10th June
"Cheap & Cheerful Classics" on Special

We are delighted at the enthusiasm for our Quiz Nights - thank you!
Now a monthly affair so you can plan your diaries ahead.
These will run on the second Friday of every month.
So dates ahead: Fridays 14th August, 11th September.

The format seems to be working. The genres and style will be tweaked each time according to feedback from prior quizzes - something for everyone - thank you.

5:30 - 9pm kitchen open
7pm quiz starts
Short interval
9:30pm quiz finishes

The entry fee of £5/entrant will go towards voucher prizes and raising more money for Hinxton's current mission to install some glass doors for the church porch.

There will be a bar snack menu on offer as well as some "Cheap & Cheerful Classics" on Special and our usual menus (but dining is optional :)
