The nights are drawing in, the leaves are starting to turn and cosy season is officially here.

We’re thinking crisp autumn mornings, hot drinks, woolly jumpers, glowing bell tents and evenings under the stars. ✨

And with Halloween just around the corner, there’s plenty of opportunity to add a little autumn magic to your bell tent too. 🎃🍁

It has been one week since we took down the bell tents and wrapped up our second season, and what better way to look back than through the words of our guests.

We are now at an incredible 51 Google 5 star reviews, plus 17 on FreeToBook, 14 on Airbnb, eight 10/10 reviews on Booking.com and five 100% recommendations on Facebook.

For our little family business, that really does mean the world. Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us over our first two summers.

And just like that, our second season at Readers Field Glamping is over.

Today the tents came down after another amazing summer. It always feels strange seeing the field empty again after weeks of welcoming so many lovely guests.

A huge thank you to everyone who stayed with us, recommended us, left us such lovely feedback and supported our small family business this summer. It really does mean so much to us.

What a lovely way to spend our penultimate weekend of the season.

This weekend we welcomed a full site hire to Readers Field Glamping, with three birthdays to celebrate! We loved adding some birthday touches to the tents ready for their arrival.

And just like that, we only have one more weekend left of our 2026 season. We cannot quite believe how quickly our second summer has gone.

One final weekend and one final group to welcome before we close the gates for another year.

What a treat to be guests at Readers Field Glamping for the night.

In the middle of a very busy summer season, we managed to grab just one night to stay ourselves.

It was so wonderful to pause for a moment and enjoy all the little things we love about the field. Time with our daughter and granddaughter, watching the sun go down, the fairy lights coming on and the most incredible night of stargazing ✨

Our final summer availability at Readers Field Glamping

We are almost fully booked for the rest of our 2026 season, with just four bell tents left across three nights:

✨ Sunday 16 August – 2 tents
✨ Wednesday 19 August – 1 tent
✨ Thursday 20 August – 1 tent

Stay in one of our fully furnished 5m bell tents in our peaceful 6-acre field in Great Sampford, Essex.

From £100 per night for up to 2 adults and 2 children, with proper beds, bedding and towels, cooking equipment, gas cooker, tea and coffee and a s’mores kit all included.
