A short stroll from the door will take you to an assortment of shops (including a butcher and bakery), pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Walking to the other end of the town, past the slate hung cottages, will bring you to the magnificent 14th century church, well worth a visit. With the Cornish north coast being so close you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches with Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth being the closest.
